Accelerators

Accelerators reward reps who exceed their quota with higher commission rates at each tier.

Configuring Accelerator Tiers

  • Open a compensation plan (or create a new one)
  • In Step 2: Commission Structure, scroll to Accelerators
  • Click "Add Tier"
  • Define:

- Threshold — Quota attainment percentage (e.g., 100%, 150%, 200%)

- Multiplier — Rate multiplier for deals in this tier (e.g., 1.5x, 2.0x)

Example Accelerator Table

Info: Accelerators apply only to deals that push the rep into a new tier. Deals below 100% always earn the base rate.

Ramp Schedules

Ramp schedules adjust quotas and/or commission rates for new hires during their onboarding period.

Setting Up a Ramp Schedule

  • In the compensation plan wizard, go to Step 3: Additional Rules
  • Toggle "Enable Ramp Schedule"
  • Define periods:

- Duration — How many months each ramp period lasts

- Quota adjustment — Percentage of full quota (e.g., 50%, 75%, 100%)

- Rate adjustment — Optional rate modifier during ramp

Tip: You can also adjust the commission rate during ramp. Some teams pay a higher rate during ramp to help new hires earn while ramping up.
